Humanity is the pinnacle of God’s creation, therefore, the way we form our children should reflect this fundamental truth. The pedagogical approach of classical education concentrates on critical thinking and problem solving skills cultivating a mind that learns how to think rather than one that learns what to think. Catholic classical education uses faith, logic and reason to achieve the goal of forming both the heart and the intellect. At Anima Christi we acknowledge the God-given dignity of each child, who is uniquely and wonderfully made in His image and likeness. As a result, our educational approach does not define our student by a test score but rather fosters the beauty behind each person encouraging him or her to be the person God created him or her to be.
Catholic Classical Education
"Education is not the piling on of learning, information, data, facts, skills, or abilities - that's training or instruction - but is rather making visible what is hidden as a seed."
– St. Thomas More

“1. TO KNOW GOD – We teach students that subjects are fingers pointing to the Truth. Through divine revelation and our natural reason (fides et ratio), we lead students to perceive the Truth that is God.
2. TO LOVE GOD – Upon perceiving this Truth, students come to a greater appreciation of God and His universe, His wisdom, and His love for man, and so grow in love for Him.
3. TO SERVE GOD – Humbled before God, students learn to serve Him with dignity, honor, integrity, and nobility.” (AquinasLearning.com/misson)
